Workshop Manager 

This role is to maintain a clean, efficient and safe workshop environment.

SUPERVISED BY:  Operations Manager

 

DUTIES:

  • Maintain tool and equipment inventory.

  • Keep shop and tool room clean and orderly.

  • Check and maintain shop equipment, including jigs and carts.

  • Keep sawhorses stocked with screws.

  • Assure tool batteries are fully charged before ramp builds.

  • Alert Operations Manager of needed repairs.

  • Coordinate with lumber supplier to schedule and receive materials.

  • Make ready tools and tool cases for upcoming builds.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with basic tools, chop saws, drills.

 

TIME COMMITMENT REQUIRED:

  • Approximately 2-4 hours per week

 

LOCATION:

  • SAWs VA Workshop, 601 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22404

 

TRAINING

  • Training will be provided as necessary.
